The booklist

Good books open the big questions.

You don't need a theology degree to choose a good book about God. These are the ones we reach for first, organized by your child's age, so you always know where to start.

A few books carry a colored edge marking a season in the church year: blue for Advent, gold for Christmas & Easter, purple for Lent & Holy Week, red for Pentecost & All Saints.

We're building a much bigger library.

Tracy Gastel has spent the past two years reading hundreds of children’s books about faith, looking for ones that meet kids where they actually are, by age, by season, by what they’re going through. Her best finds already reach you through Grace Notes each month. Soon, the whole collection will be searchable here too, by your child’s age, the season you’re in, or what your family needs right now. We’re not there yet, but we’re getting closer every month.
